Balanced Mode Radiators (BMR)

The BMR is a unique flat diaphragm loudspeaker that addresses two significant limitations of conventional cone diaphragms: break up and power beaming.

BMR delivers key improvements:

• Wide sound directivity: Delivers extended SPL on and off‑axis, with improved coverage for all listeners
• Excellent voice intelligibility: Achieved by a combination of smooth extended sound power response and low distortion
• Simplified acoustic solution: Preserves sound integrity due to fewer drive units (no tweeters)

How to use a BMR:

• Amplification: Works with all typical audio amplifiers
• Low‑frequency alignment: Same design methodology as a conventional speaker, including passive radiators and ports
• HF/MF Crossover: Not needed

Exciters

Tectonic exciters allow you to turn many surfaces into a speaker. Proprietary technology, coupled with premium materials, produce this versatile audio solution. The proprietary TEAX32 balanced exciter is designed for rugged automotive and industrial use. All exciters are provided with 3M VHB adhesive tape attached for simple peel and stick integration.
