Visaton W300-8 12" Woofer 8 Ohm

Visaton's 9069 W300 12" woofer is designed to be a high performance replacement speaker at a budget price point. A foam surround, ribbed treated-paper cone, and vented pole piece offer longevity while capturing that classic sound from the golden era of loudspeakers. A healthy 5.25 mm of Xmax and excursion limit of ±14 mm allows this driver to pump out some serious bass, rivaling some subwoofer, in many different sized sealed, acoustic suspension or ported cabinets. A smooth frequency response makes for easy integration with many different midrange speakers and tweeters.

Note: For best performance, install the W300 into one of the following cabinets:
• A 2.47 cubic foot sealed cabinet (F3 is 56 Hz with a Qtc of 0.8).
• A 3.53 cubic foot sealed cabinet (F3 is 49 Hz with a Qtc of 0.71).
• A 5.30 cubic foot sealed cabinet (F3 is 43 Hz with a Qtc of 0.62). 
• A 2.47 cubic foot cabinet tuned to 36 Hz with a 3-1/8" diameter port that is 2-3/4" long.
• A 3.53 cubic foot cabinet tuned to 32 Hz with a 3-1/8" diameter port that is 7-7/8" long.
• A 5.30 cubic foot cabinet tuned to 29 Hz with two 2-1/2" ports that are 2-3/4" long.
