The molded, standard 1-3/8"-18 TPI screw-on design allows the DT175 to be used as a replacement compression driver for many popular professional audio speaker cabinets, including stage, studio, and floor monitors.
A 1" CCAW (copper-clad aluminum) voice coil is wound on a Kapton® former to keep the moving mass at a minimum for the highest possible output. With a sensitivity of 108 dB, and a frequency response of 1,500 to 20,000 Hz, the DT175 can keep up with nearly any driver on the market.
