This 3 ohm 15” paper cone professional woofer, built by Eminence Speakers, offers extreme output capability and natural response. The naturally damped paper cone and cloth surround keep unwanted response peaks under control, making it easy to integrate a high frequency driver into your design. The large ferrite motor and lightweight cone assembly results in a sensitivity of 100 dB giving this 15” incredible output levels. Finally, the 3” voice coil and vented pole piece can handle up to 450 watts RMS before suffering from heat related issues heat issues like power compression or glue failure. With its 3 ohm impedance, this is an excellent driver for use high output dual 15” designs.
