For the audiophile who prefers the journey to the destination, this DIY speaker kit lets you craft high-fidelity sound from the ground up. The TriTrix MTM TL components provide everything you need to build a pair of 2-Way Transmission Line speakers—except the woodworking skills, that is.

The Drivers

The TriTrix MTM TL speaker kit is equipped with two Dayton Audio DC130BS-4 5-1/4" Classic Shielded Woofers and a 1" Dayton Audio DC28FS-8 Silk Dome Tweeter, arranged in an MTM configuration. This configuration, which stands for Midrange-Tweeter-Midrange, offers a myriad of benefits. By positioning the tweeter in between the two midrange drivers, it provides improved dispersion and off-axis response, resulting in a more spacious and accurate soundstage. The use of the Classic Shielded Woofers ensures enhanced bass reproduction with reduced electromagnetic interference from external equipment. With the TriTrix MTM TL speaker kit, you can enjoy a remarkable audio experience that captures the nuances of your favorite music with exceptional clarity and depth.
