The TPT-T2500-12 D2 entry level competition grade 12" subwoofer from Timpano Audio is built for the most extreme customers and the biggest builds. Timpano's T2500 Series drivers are designed to bring the ultimate combination of performance, durability, quality and value. Featuring incredible linear excursion, with top-grade soft parts, and premium 3" voice coils on a colossal cast aluminum basket these subwoofers set new standards for value and performance.

Every component used on the TPT-T2500-12 D2 was designed to deliver maximum excursion and dependable operation. The stiff reinforced non-pressed treated paper cone is held in place with dual stacked spiders and a high roll surround that is securely stitched in place. Driving the cone is a massive 3" 4-laver American made voice coil and vented aluminum former that is capable of withstanding extreme temperatures without worry of failure. A powerful double stacked magnet assembly that provides ample motor force while allowing enough clearance for the voice coil to travel 37 mm without bottoming out. Holding everything together is a heavy duty cast aluminum frame which also has ample clearance under the spider assembly. Finally, extensive venting through the frame, voice coil, pole piece, and magnetic gap keeps cool air flowing across the voice coil to dissipate heat giving the TPT-T2500-12 D2 the ability to handle up to 1,250 watts RMS (2,500 watts peak), even during long listening and demo sessions. This incredible construction makes the TPT-T2500-12 D2 an ideal choice for use in your next high SPL sound system.
