The naturally damped phenolic diaphragm is driven by a 2" diameter CCAW voice coil with Kapton former to handle up to 100 watts RMS (recommended 500 Hz, 12 dB/octave high pass crossover). The high power handling combined with an amazing 109 dB sensitivity gives the D2200Ph incredible output capability and allows it to be used in even the loudest of environments. In addition, at only 5-1/4" diameter this driver is perfect for use in situations where space is at a minimum.
