This knock-down 2 x 12" Baltic birch cabinet makes it easy to build your own custom guitar or bass speaker cabinet. Constructed of high quality 9-ply 1/2" birch plywood, this enclosure is lightweight but extremely durable. In addition, the unique 3-piece back panel gives you the choice of using this as an open back or sealed enclosure to accommodate your needs.

Build your own custom 2 x 12" guitar or bass speaker cabinet with this CNC cut Baltic birch knock-down enclosure. Constructed of high quality 1/2" thick 9-ply Baltic birch, this lightweight cabinet is extremely rigid and can take all the use and abuse you can throw at it. For even more durability all of the joints are rabbeted or dadoed for maximum gluing surface area. Thanks to the unique 3-piece back panel, this enclosure can be used as a sealed design for maximum low frequency response or open back for a natural, full sound.

Customize the assembled enclosure to fit your style—wrap it in carpet or vinyl, paint it, cover it in veneer, coat it in polyurethane, or even plaster it with stickers—the possibilities are endless. The 11.1" driver cutouts are compatible with most popular bass and guitar speakers on the market, so load this with your favorite drivers and build your own version of a high dollar speaker cabinet for a fraction of the price.

"Glue up was super easy, birch plywood finished very nicely with satin polyurethane clear coat. 1/2" plywood was a little tricky to round over edges with a router but got pretty good results with a 3/8" round over bit. Totally wails with parallel 8 Ohm Celestion Hot 100's and a 200W IcePower 200ASC power amp (way more SPL than you would ever need for a club venue).
