Overview

Dayton Audio DSPB-K DSP Kernel Board

Add the Dayton Audio DSPB-K between your input source and amplifier to add powerful DSP processing to your next speaker project! Thanks to the built-in Analog Devices ADAU1701 processor, this preamp is capable of filters, precise EQ, bass enhancement, time alignment and so much more that isn’t feasible with passive crossover components. Get quick access to filter and gain settings with the built-in potentiometers out of the box, but unlock the full potential of the DSPB-K by combining it with the Dayton Audio KPX (sold separately), allowing it to be programmed with SigmaStudio and your Windows PC. Just make sure the switch on the DSPB-K is set to program mode, and the switch on the DSPB- ICP1 is set to USB. Check out the attached user manual and example SigmaStudio projects for more details about the capabilities of the entire DSPB series!

Integrated DSP Chip

Create nearly limitless possibilities of EQ, crossover, bass enhancement, time alignment and more thanks to the ADAU1701 DSP chip built into the DSPB-K kernel board.

Optional Programing Interface Board

Add the KPX to unlock the full potential of the DSP built onto your DSPB-K! When connected to a Windows PC, the KPX allows you to program your DSPB-K with the Analog Devices SigmaStudio development tool, allowing for practically endless DSP customization including precise EQ, filters, bass enhancement, time alignment, and more that is practically impossible with passive crossovers.

Optional DSPB-KE Connects it to an Amplifier

The DSPB-KE is a perfect match for the DSPB-K to quickly create a 2.1 system! The DSPB-KE includes standoffs and a 10-wire jumper cable to integrate these two boards into a diminutive package, adding to the DSPB-K the appropriate RCA and 3.5mm connections for a 2.1 system without the need for soldering or a custom solution.
