Belden's 1189A Quad Shield coaxial cable features four alternating layers of poly-foil shielding and aluminum braid, the combination of which provides 100% coverage. 1189A is recommended for all CATV/CCTV applications that require an RG-6/U specification cable with a 75 ohm rated impedance. FPE insulation and black PVC jacket.

Specifications: • Center conductor: 0.040" dia. bare copper covered steel • Insulation: 0.180" dia. gas-injected FPE • Shield: Duofoil® tape bonded foil/tape/foil combined with braided aluminum, a second layer of Duofoil®, and a second aluminum braid • Outer jacket: PVC • Nominal impedance: 75 ohms • Velocity of propagation: 83% • Capacitance: 16.2 pF/ft. • Nominal attenuation: 0.67 dB/100 ft. @ 1 MHz • Overall diameter: 0.294".
