Dayton Audio DMA80-8 Dayton Audio DMA80-PR

Designed for the highest performance while delivering maximum value, the no compromise design of the DMA80-8 produces true full-range output capability with minimal distortion. The motor uses dual neodymium magnets creating a strong and symmetrical magnetic field providing high efficiency with excellent cone control. The magnet assembly also includes a large copper cap and sleeve to lower inductance and distortion resulting in improved high frequency response. The 2-layer 1" voice coil is wound on a vented aluminum former providing excellent heat dissipation for high power handling and low power compression. A rubber surround and large spider keeps the lightweight aluminum cone linear with superb mechanical damping. In addition, the aluminum dust cap is attached directly to the voice coil former to improve high frequency response with terrific off axis performance. Holding everything together is a proprietary 12-spoke frame with an extremely open design that has extensive venting under the spider and ample room for high excursion.

The DMA80-PR 3" passive radiator from Dayton Audio is the perfect option for achieving low tuning frequencies from the smallest enclosure designs. This incredibly small passive radiator has all the features you would expect lager units including adjustable mass, aluminum cone, and rubber surround. Visually identical to Dayton Audio's full-range DMA series drivers, the DMA80-PR can also be used with any small driver that requires a low tuning frequency. The threaded rod and included wing nut on the back of the cone makes it easy to add mass to tune the radiator as needed for your projects.

About the Dayton Audio SBA302-BT Sound Bar Amplifier

SBA302-BT Sound Bar Amplifier

The AudioBar uses a custom version of the SBA302-BT sound bar amplifier from Dayton Audio that uses the on board DSP and specific EQ presets to get the most out of this design. With separate input/amplifier, control, and IR modules the AudioBar sound bar is loaded with all the common features found on prebuilt systems.

For simple connection to almost any television, the SBA302-BT features a variety of input options, including line level, optical, and HDMI ARC. All of the wired inputs are recessed into the power/input module allowing you design a low-profile sound bar that can mount extremely close to a wall. In addition, a Bluetooth input gives you the ability to stream audio directly from your phone, tablet, or other wireless device.

As an added convenience the SBA302-BT includes two methods of control. The first is the wired control module which gives you the ability to control power, input, and volume directly from your sound bar. The second option is the IR remote control for convenient operation directly from the comfort of your seat. Also, a unique remote learning feature allows you to use any existing IR remote to control the most common functions of the SBA302-BT.

About the Knock-Down Enclosure

The enclosure panels are all CNC milled to tight tolerances ensuring easy assembly. The majority of the enclosure consists for premium quality 1/2" Baltic birch plywood for minimal weight without sacrificing durability. The drivers' baffles are cut from 1/2" solid walnut to give the AudioBar a one-of-a-kind look that includes the timeless style of real wood. Recesses for flush mounting the drivers and the opening for all of the amplifier components are pre-cut, making assembly a snap.
