Overview
Tang Band built the amplified KIT-0041 speaker module mounting kit to showcase their T1-1828S, T1-1931S, and T1-1942S speaker modules .Each kit includes all of the hardware necessary to quickly turn a set of speaker modules into a set of collapsible full range desktop speakers with the imaging and sound stage depth found in true high fidelity speakers. Other advantages of this type of speaker design include the elimination of crossover components in the critical midrange, superb off-axis response, and perfect time-alignment.
The included amplifier mounts onto the rear of one of the speaker stands to maintain a slim, modern profile and features a 3.5 mm input and Bluetooth® for wireless Smartphone connectivity. A parallel 3.5 mm output allows connection to a separate subwoofer, a second set of amplified computer speakers, or a set of headphones. All operation buttons are top mounted for quick access and control. 12 VDC, 2A switching power supply included.
Note: Due to the power output of the KIT-0041's amplifier, special care needs to be taken when using the KIT-0041 with the T1-1931S as the maximum output might damage this speaker module. It is also recommended that bass boost not be applied to source material when using the KIT-0041 as it may damage the speaker modules.
