The SPA2-60 provides 60 watts per channel at 4 or 8 ohms, and can be bridged to supply up to 200 watts at 4 or 8 ohms. Bridged mode will also directly drive high impedance speaker lines, with up to 250 watts at 70V or 100V. The SPA2-60 accomplishes this with a quiet, convection-cooled Class-D amplifier design and universal power supply that team up to keep energy use and operating costs to an absolute minimum without compromising performance.
The SPA2-60 is so efficient that no fan is required, and it features Auto-Ramp circuitry that enables seamless and quiet power up from standby mode, which is automatically engaged after 28 minutes of inactivity -- dramatically reducing energy consumption.
All this power and flexibility is packed into a tiny package that looks great at only 1U, and will fit in a half rack. The included mounting hardware allows quick and easy mounting in a half rack, single- or double-unit mounting in a standard rack, as well as mounting atop or below a shelf or other surface, on a wall, or the unit is also fine freestanding on any suitable surface such as a desktop.
