The Lavolta KIT-1 is easy to set up and operate, yet highly customizable. Installation is quick and simple using the 3M adhesive backing on the LED strip. This kit includes 10 light strip brackets with rust resistant screws for extra secure mounting. Cut the LEDs to a specific length with copper pads placed every 2". These pads also make it simple to make 90° turns or add extensions. This kit is the ideal product for turning any room, shelving unit, or patio into a unique lighting experience.
Each SMD5050 LED is CE and RoHS compliant, the entire strip is IP65 rated (no ingress of dust; complete protection against contact. Water projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm) against enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects).
You can really get the show going with the included 44-key IR remote that gives you options ranging from slow pulsing fades, to incredibly quick color changes, and every mood from sedate to energetic. The Lavolta KIT-1 is perfect for holiday decorating, parties, or to add architectural lighting flair to homes and offices.
A switching 12 VDC, 5A power supply (with 8 feet of cable) is included for maximum LED brightness.
Note: Prior to attaching the LED strip to a surface, it is recommended that you clean the surface with alcohol and dry with a lint-free cloth. In order to connect the LED lighting strip correctly to the remote control, align the black wire with the controller connector's arrow. The strip will only work in one direction, and you cannot harm the strip by connecting it backwards. Install the LED strip connector to the controller connector with both arrows in alignment.
To use the DIY memory keys, press the desired memory key, use the up/down red, green, or blue arrows to adjust to desired color, then press the DIY memory key again to store the color.
Due to the IR operation of this product, it is possible for remote controls of other devices to inadvertently change LED settings.
