Copper foil inductors are the “ideal" inductor offering superior inductive properties than round-wire inductors.

Copper foil inductors offer better heat dissipation, reduced voltage stress and greater mechanical strength than round wire inductors. Consider Dayton Audio copper foil inductors when a “no compromise" crossover is desired.

Copper quality/purity: The copper used in all Dayton Audio inductors, both wire and foil based, is a minimum of 99.9% pure, providing 100% conductivity. The oxygen component of the copper is between 0.02% and 0.04%.
