B-52 18-180D2 18" Cast Frame Professional Subwoofer 4 Ohm

The 18-180D2 18" professional subwoofer was made by Eminence loudspeakers for B-52. Originally used in a compact professional subwoofer system, this driver is also perfect for use in high efficiency hi-fi systems. With over 100 dB @ 2.83V/1m sensitivity, 33 Hz Fs, and 0.44 Qts the 18-180D2 is even suitable as a woofer in lower power open baffle and infinite baffle systems. Or, for hi-fi and home theater systems you can expect extremely high impact and dynamic midbass response from smaller vented designs. With a 3" voice coil, cast aluminum frame, progressive spider, and triple roll surround this driver is built to take abuse while delivering high quality low frequency output.

For over 30 years, B-52 has manufactured Pro Audio gear in California using only high quality components. We recently acquired tons of product from them so they could free up space in their warehouse. This huge buyout of woofers, compression drivers, horns, crossover components, and cabinet hardware is listed here for a fraction of what you would normally pay. Many drivers in this factory buyout are New Old Stock (NOS) from famous brands and would be considered vintage. Like the B-52 bomber, this factory buyout travels the globe and includes drivers manufactured by famous brands around the world in places like the UK, USA, Denmark, and Brazil.
