Tang Band 25-2176S 1" Compact Soft Dome Neodymium Tweeter 4 Ohm

The 25-2176S 1" soft dome tweeter from Tang Band combines small size, high power handling, low Fs, and low distortion into a flexible and unique package. To keep this tweeter as small as possible Tang Band uses a solid aluminum threaded housing with a lock ring for mounting which also gives this tweeter a sleek, custom look when installed. The aluminum housing combined with Ferrofluid in the voice coil gap quickly dissipates heat, effectively increasing power handling over most tweeters this small. To keep the resonant frequency low the 25-2176S has a wide surround and heavily damped rear chamber, making it usable with crossovers as low as 1,800 Hz. In addition, the motor system includes a shorting ring to keep distortion as low as possible to produce smooth, non-fatiguing response even at high output levels.
