The PAC8 8" dual voice coil subwoofer from Goldwood is ideal for adding bass on a budget. With a treated paper cone and rubber surround this driver is designed to handle the harsh automotive environment. For cooling, the 4-layer voice coil is wound on an aluminum former that is vented though the pole piece allowing high continuous power handling.

Goldwood PAC8 8" Dual Voice Subwoofer Coil 4 Ohm per Coil

Goldwood's PAC8 8" subwoofer is a flexible driver that is suitable for use a number of designs. The PAC 8" is capable of providing an extremely low F3 in larger vented enclosures or a tight punchy response in smaller sealed cabinets. Also, with a Qts of 0.76, this driver is a perfect option for use in open baffle and IB designs for a natural bass response. The treated paper cone and inverted dust cap give the PAC8 a sleek look, and with a rubber surround you can expect minimal resonance for smooth response. A large diameter flat spider keeps excursion linear when driven to its limits, and the integrated woven tinsel leads eliminate the possibility of lead slap for minimal mechanical noise. With a 4-laver voice coil, aluminum former, and vented pole piece, the PAC8 is designed to handle 120 watts RMS while taking peaks of up to 400 watts without overheating.

Note: This driver has dual 4 ohm voice coils. However, our current stock includes jumper wires connecting the 2 voice coils in parallel for a single 2 ohm load. Simply cut and remove the jumper wires to use this as a dual 4 ohm driver.
