The Celestion TN1230's neodymium motor and 3" voice coil help improve its critical power handling and efficiency specifications. Copper wire is wound on a 3" polyimide former, and the resulting improvement in electromagnetic qualities guarantees higher output, better thermal transfer, and extended high frequency response.
